I am honored to serve our residents with excellence and a joy filled heart. My gained knowledge through serving in the Assisted Living Industry, has led me to open a Luxurious residential care home for our Seniors. I am diligent while providing detailed care. At the end of the day, through my creative care technics, my residents feel worthy and loved. I am empathetic as I give care. My goal is to provide them a sense of purpose and joy which allows them to thrive. Continually I seek to gain knowledge through educational programs specific to Geriatric needs. I am happily married for 22 years. I have raised 4 amazing children. Every morning I wake up with Gratitude. I continually seek God in my daily walk and ask him where he needs me and who needs me. Serving our Seniors is fulfilling and rewarding. Thank you for trusting your loved one in our care.

Evie Justimbaste, RN BSN

For the last 5 years, Evie has been a crucial member of our team here at Mountain Cove Care. Evie has 22 years as a strong patient advocate who always does what is RIGHT for the patient. Evie with her background as a critical care and cardiac nurse brings so much knowledge and quick implementation practices that our residents depend on every day. Evie at her core is an educator. She is thorough and a great communicator. She has set an incredible high bar in the industry for all to follow.

Our Hair Stylist

Nancy Penrose

You would think after doing hair for 47 years you would call it quits! Not for Nancy – She absolutely loves her seniors at Mountain Cove Care and they look forward to the awesome job she does every week. Nancy services many seniors at their respective assisted living homes, but enjoys coming to MCC not only because of the residents but because it’s a welcoming environment. It’s clean, smells good and there is a positive energy in the air that you can sense when you walk in the door.

Our Music Therapist

Shana Rebilas Bousard

Shana Rebilas Bousard has been professionally involved in music and theatre all her life. She graduated from the prestigious Hartt School of Music and began her career as a featured singer/dancer for Holland America and Regency Cruise lines, and has performed at theatres around the country. She has also performed several cabarets and concerts in Manhattan, Phoenix, Wisconsin, and at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. Since moving to Arizona in 1995, Shana, a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association, has performed for many local theatre companies and is an AriZoni Award winning actress/director. Shana obtained her music therapy equivalency certificate from Alverno College in Milwaukee, and has been working as a Board Certified Music Therapist since 2004. She is touched and honored to share music with people of all ages and abilities, and has a special love and rapport with her older clients.

Our Physical Therapist

Laura Walker

Laura has been a physical therapist for 19 years and has worked with geriatrics in a home health setting for 10 years. She has a deep background in fall prevention for the elderly and she is certified in LSVT BIG, which is a Parkinson’s disease specialty program. Laura is also a certified orthopedic manual therapist. She moved to Anthem in 2018 with her husband and three lovely children.
